CFO and Acting CEO - Alvine Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Worked in conjunction with Alvine’s Board of Directors to complete the sale of the company’s technology to ImmunogenX, Inc. and dissolve Alvine’s corporate entity.

2006 - 2015

Sr. Director of Finance - Alvine Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Directed all Finance, Accounting, HR, and Public Relations activities for this venture-funded biopharmaceutical company.  Raised $120 Million through two rounds of venture capital funding and a major corporate partnership agreement.

2004 - 2006

Sr. Director of FP&A and Treasury - Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, treasury and equity accounting, and reporting for this publicly traded company.  Supported preparation of S-1 and amendments for company’s IPO and subsequent SEC reporting.

1998 - 2003

CFO/Controller - Abilizer Solutions, Inc.

Managed all accounting and finance operations for this Venture-funded Internet start-up company during a period of rapid growth from 55 to 200 employees. Was responsible for completing the closure of the company and return of remaining funds after the Board elected to cease company operations.

1991 - 1998

Controller - Scios Inc.

Responsible for all accounting and finance operations for this publicly traded company as Chief Accounting Officer reporting to the VP of legal. Worked with the Company’s CPA firm and prepared all SEC financial filings.

Manager of Budgeting and Financial Analysis - Cetus Corporation

Responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, and coordination of annual five-year plan for this pioneering biopharmaceutical company.
